I recently purchased a slightly used pontoon from Gone Fishin' Marine. I live in Salt Lake City Utah and had been searching for some time to find just the right boat. I was skeptical in making such a large purchase basically completely over emails, texts and phone calls without actually being there in person but I am sure glad I did. With the pandemic and travel issues, this was the only way I could get the deal done and it was super smooth. They were very upfront and honest, sent pics and videos, answered all my questions and the boat arrived exactly how I expected it. They even helped me arrange shipping. Communication and meeting expectations is very important in business, and they came through on point! I worked with Faith in sales and finalized everything with the owner, Mark. Very transparent company, exceptional service from them both! I bought my first boat from GFM back in 2000. It was a Lund Tyee and the sales and service experience back then was awesome. Fast forwrd 19 years later when I was ready to upgrade my Lund to a Duckworth, GFM was the first place I was going to to too. They had the boat that I wanted in stock and I went to Mark Blanton who sold me my Lund and now is the owner of GFM and we were able to work out a fair trade in on my Lund and a awesome price on the new Duckworth. He and his staff were great to deal with. I told him what electronics and accessories that I wanted on the new boat and he was able to accommodate it without any problems. He told me just give him a few weeks to get it put ont he boat and it would be ready for pick up. GFM has also has an excellent service department. Depending on the time of year, the turnaround time is pretty quick. Don't know if I'll be buying a third fishing boat in my lifetime. But if I do I do I'll be going back to GFM. Gone fishin marine is the best boat dealer in California just from their excellent customer service alone. The way they treated me when I walked into the establishment was excellent. I felt like I been coming to this place forever with how they treated me. As soon as I walked up to the building, not even to the door yet, I was greeted by 2 people who introduced themselves and directed me to where I needed to go. Mike was great and very helpful and answered all the questions I had. When it came to finalizing my transaction, the woman in accounting was extremely nice and helpful and made such a comfortable environment for me. I had engine problems with my 250 Pro XS and called my local dealer in Sonoma County. I explained to him I was leaving town on Monday for a 2 week camping trip with my family. Don told me to bring the boat by. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted by Don who immediately diagnosed the problem, the coil. Don walked me to the service department, engaged in friendly conversation and helped me with the purchase of the coil. Don then installed the coil and I was on my way. Today my wife and I bought our first boat. From the first time we stepped onto the lot until we left today the way we were treated, the way we were guided was nothing short of a first class experience. My wife and I own a heating and air conditioning company in Clackamas, Oregon and we coach our team in a principle that you cannot ask a client for any business until you earn it. We call it a WOW tuneup and we feel that is what we received in dealing with Mark @ Gone Fishin Marine. From my initial contact with Mark on the phone I was pleased in the overall sales process. We were interested in a boat he had on consignment and I had been searching the entire west coast for sometime for that particular vessel. I went to work on him immediately trying to convince that I was a serious buyer and he sent me several photo's of the boat with associated information all to my satisfaction and very timely.... Mark understood that I was making a large investment without seeing the vessel. He was very concerned that I was getting what I wanted without disappointment. Once he sent additional pics and answered additional questions and verified transport details he finally sold me the boat! The boat arrived on a Sunday and I had arranged a mobile notary to witness the ownership transfer at a mutual location. While towing the boat home my phone range and it was Mark, what timing. He was just calling to see if everything had gone ok and it had. When I got the boat home the first thing I did was wash all the road grime off to see what we had purchased. WOW, this boat was over the top. The previous owner had taken very good care of his prized possession and we now own a jewel of a boat. In the sales process benefits and featured are typically overstated. Mark was extremely straight forward and even replaced one of the batteries in the boat before he shipped it. This was a used boat and Mark did not have to do this as I was buying it in as is condition. Mark-------you the man! I have made two purchases from this company when the Tracker Marine Center at Bass Pro Shops wouldn't even respond to my inquiry. My first purchase was a couple of years ago when I was trying to get a Tournament Cover for my Nitro Bass Boat. Mark was great and got me the cover from Dowco very quickly. Then a few weeks ago I decided to replace my carpet and needed to get some Carpet Trim and End Caps. Again they quickly ordered the parts from Tracker Marine and I received them very quickly. If you want to get parts for your Nitro give them a call. They are professional and provide outstanding service. They are now my go to dealer.

For the second time now, I walked into Gone Fishin Marine and told Mark what I wanted and the I wasn't leaving without it. What did Mark and the staff at GF do? They got me exactly what I wanted. Don't try what I did with any other boat dealership, it won't happen! This is the second boat I've purchased from GF marine and the experience was perfect. It's one thing to do it once but twice is amazing. It just goes to prove that the integrity and the devotion to customer satisfaction at GF marine is here for the long term. If you're thinking of buy a boat just go visit the other guys then go to GF marine. If you don't get you're boat from GF I'd be suprised and I also feel sorry for you because you made a big mistake.

Very pleased with your resolutions to a couple minor problems with my 2012 Lund Fury 1600. Hope to have motor in for service after break-in runs. Ran great for first 2 hours on lake last week.

I would like to thank Mike and Mark for a great experience. Mark gave me more for my trade-in than I could have gotten for it on my own and did not have to deal with the headache. Mike was great to work with on the accessories and never once pressured me to buy something I didn't need or want. The boat was delivered clean and all were great at going over all the functions of the boat. I have wanted a Lund for a long time and these folks made it easier than I thought possible.

Gone Fishin Marine comes through for me and my 1997 Astro (Mercury Mariner 150 EFI) once again... I've been bringing it to GFM for 3 of the 4 years I've owned it. It takes me about an hour to get there with good traffic (I live in San Rafael and they're in Dixon so there ya go). Why don't I take it to a more local boat mechanic/shop? Because of SERVICE and COMMUNICATION. All shops charge about $100/hr for maintenance, so I'm not saving money there, but what I DO save on his headache and wondering about my boat when I bring it in and attitude (from other shops I've been to that I won't name). GFM just plain seems to give a hoot about your boat and its owner: YOU. They have a wall full of certifications and their service department is top notch. Most recently, I brought my boat in for a fuel delivery problem of some sort and it turned out to be clogged fuel injectors and VST needed to be taken apart and cleaned. The cost to replace all fuel injectors is about $500 each (with new factory ones) so that plus labor could have easily run up the bill to about $4500 but GFM worked with me on lowering the cost considerably by having the injectors sent to a cleaning/calibration service and I was out the door for far under $2k instead of more than double that. Josh, the service manager there, was absolutely on top of everything from start to finish and kept me informed right up through the time I could pick the boat up again. If you have a used boat not under warranty and have a problem you can't figure out, call these guys up and let them take a look at it. Chances are they will fix the problem and do it for a more than reasonable price. If I ever buy a NEW boat in the furture, GFM will more than likely win my business.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the crew at Gone Fishing. I just purchased a pontoon boat and the experience was very pleasant. From Beau the salesman, to Emily in finance, all the way to Glenn in parts (he helped me build an anchor)! Never any pressure and very knowledgeable. They were all 5 star! As an avid boat builder and restorer with a [penchant] for building really wild and crazy outboard motors I was impressed with the quality and price of the Jetcraft Falcon. The only thing standing in my way was finding a dealership that wasn't going out of business any time soon. When I got off the phone with Mark the first time I knew I had found the right dealer. I wrote a check with total confidence the day I met Mark and Beau and saw how they ran their business. Trust me folks, I've been to a lot of boat dealers and bought a lot of boats and Gone Fishin Marine is NOT typical. As for the boat, it's everything I expected it to be. I've been welding TIG and MIG for several years now and I can look at a welded boat and tell if the welders knew what they were dong or not. My Jetcraft Falcon is an entry level boat but they still put a lot of care into using the correct welding processes where they need to be. I have no doubt it will last for many years. If something happens, it is constructed of good quality 5000 series aluminum and can be repaired easily. If you're thinking about buying an Aluminum boat keep the preceeding sentence in mind. It could save you a lot of money in the future. Would I buy another boat from Gone Fishin Marine... Without hesitation. Would I recommend others .. You bet! GFM and Mark sold my boat on consignment for me. Mark did a great job of appraising and marketing my boat. It sold fast and the buyer and I both got a fair price for the boat. Pamela in the Business Office was great too.

My husband and I have been looking for a heavy gauge aluminum boat (Jetcraft). We have visited Gone FIshin' several times trying to decide exactly what we want/need. Everyone at the dealership is friendly and helpful. In particular, Luke Peacock has been wonderful in assisting us throughout this process. He is knowledgable and obviously enjoys his work. He is making this process so much fun! In addition to their large selection of boats, they also have a huge tackle shop. We have spent several hours walking the isles shopping for everything from fishing tackle to electronics. I would tell anyone looking for a boat or fishing/boating supplies to go to Gone Fishin'.

We spent hours at the Sportsmen Expo looking at boats but kept coming back to Gone Fishin's boats. The boats were reasonably priced but it was the people that we were drawn to. Mark, Beau, Gary (the Jet Craft rep from Canada) and Marks' friend were all great! We put money down with the knowledge we could back out if we wanted. The next week we went to Gone Fishin' and we were treated with respect and kindness. Our son was hungry so Beau gave him part of his lunch. Mark was concerned about our son so he picked out a really nice life jacket for him and gave it to him. He did a number of nice things for us that he didn't have to...we had already signed the papers. This is a top notch dealership and recommend them to everyone.

This is an excellent place to service your boat. I purchased a 97 nitro, from a private party, that had several issues and Gone Fishin Marine came through every single time. They were prompt with a very educated staff. They took the time to explain the problems and fixed them in a timely manner. In addition to their excellent service, they followed up with me just a couple days after I told them I would be taking my boat out. I have taken my boat elsewhere, much closer to where I live but the service and knowledge of the other service departmentts were either horrible (BPS) or just okay!! I drive 50 miles to have my boat serviced at GF Marine and I would drive 50 more, if I had to. This establishment is run intelligently and is very customer service orientated (Thanks to Mark) and I would recommend using GF Marine for all your boating needs. Thanks again!!

I purchased a 17' Jetcraft Adventurer a few weeks ago from Gone Fishing. What a great experience, no pressure, answered our questions until we made a decision. The Sales, Parts, Finance, and Service Staff are great. The owner Mark and his wife treated us like family. On extras and changes they advised us on what was best for us with no regard for just a sale. I believe I have gained new friends and would strongly recommend Gone Fishing if you are interested in a boat or service. You won't be disappointed.

I have a 97 Astro/Procraft bass boat and the motor would just 'quit' at random times (it wasn't blown; it would just cut off without warning at/near idle or WOT, totally random). I was going to take it to my bass club's usual/local place in Santa Rosa but they couldn't even take it in for a couple+ weeks at the time so I searched online and found GFM. What a great experience. They said to bring it right in, despite how busy they were (this was mid Summer). Mike Rowe, Service Manager, kept me posted via email and always returned any calls as well---that guy just plain TALKS to his customers, which is sometimes hard to find in the service industry. This problem was tricky, but in the end Mike spent some of his own time to take it out on the water himself to confirm that the problem was fixed in the end. I have to drive quite a ways from the SF area, and when I bring my boat to Mike's team at GFM for annual maintenance or any other reason, I feel confident that things will always be done right. They have an entire wall filled with factory certs for Mike and his crew, so the confidence level is high. The rates are right there with the 'other' place I've gone to, and the service/communications is in my opinion a notch above. Definitely a first rate, top notch place----check them out if you haven't had a chance.

As an out of State buyer( even out of Country) I could not have been more pleased with the service from Mark Blanton at GF marine!. I bought a used boat site unseen and Mark reassured me that all was great. I had the boat delivered and everything that Mark arranged went off without a hitch. Upon getting the boat back to Canada I had a few small issues that needed to deal. Mark stepped up and tried to do all that he could. Even now, GF Marine is trying to help me with a power steering issue( I can still operate my boat!) that the dealer here is unable to help with. They may just save me a 10 hr drive to a service center and that is to an out of country customer. That is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

My personal best to date: 11lbz 1 oz caught on board the Team GFMarine Z9CDC!! After the fish was landed, I took advantage of the front 22 gallon live well which was prepped with Rejuvenade and started the fish on the road to recovery from the effects of the fight. I believe this feature of the Z9CDC has been instrumental in protecting a lot of fish that were photo worthy.

The overall experience was 5 Star, from sales, service, tackle shop,all were profesional, courteous and so darn polite. It was nice to find a dealership with the follow up post sales, discount specials, holiday greetings and a the part of the family atmosphere. I would send them referal business with no hesitation. I bought a 2007 19 1/2ft Pro-V, Bass catching machine. I learned that my boat was made in my home state of Minnasota. The ergonomocs of the boat is by far superior to other brands for myself as a person with physical disabilities.
